The blessing ceremony for TVB’s new comedy “When a Dog Falls in Love with a Cat” (When Dogs Love Cats – WDLC) was scheduled for September 17th at 4 pm, TVB City (Tseung Kwan O, HK).

[HK][Highlights only] Gallen Lo, Margie Tsang, Myolie Wu, Lui Fong, Bernice Liu, Tracy Ip, Kwok Fung, and many others attended the ceremony. Gallen was asked about the latest rumor on ATV recruiting effort involving Ada Choi. “If that’s true then congratulations to her,” said Gallen candidly. Will he consider ATV? Gallen repeated that he’d leave the decision to his management company.
In WDLC, Gallen’s character is a cancer patient. Gallen and Myolie have cooperated earlier in TV series such as Golden Faith, but never have they acted as a couple. Myolie wouldn’t worry about any rumor, as she always regards Gallen as her big brother. He’s been the good one for many years.

Cancer patient as in cancer patient? Oh my! I wonder what type and at what stage… There seems to be very little/minimal spoilers for this series!
And oh, I like Myolie’s hairdo. Gallen’s looking sharp too, albeit needing to lose weight for the role. [I hope we won't have to see him... bald?]

Yes, I think the original news article stated nasopharyngeal as the type of cancer. Stage? Recurrent. I’ll have to go and look up the survival rate, but counting on the fact that WDLC is a comedy, I hope TVB will keep him alive.

A nice twist to have a comedy’s main character deal with cancer (and most likely radiotherapy). I believe NPC has a 5-year survival rate.
I can’t believe gallen is starting in a new TVB drama series. he did very well in Golden Faith and i hope he does well in this series.
